The coffee obtains extreme sweetness and fruity aroma with this method of processing. The taste reminds us of black cherry and grapefruit with fine notes of vanilla. This round, balanced light roast is characterized by its floral accents and the sweetness of honey and dried fruits. The “Das Mädzhik” is a light but full-bodied coffee with particularly complex notes of hibiscus and fudge. A fruity, berry-like sweetness stands out in the taste, reminiscent of ripe cherries, and lingers pleasantly in the mouth with a subtle freshness. Origin 100% Ethiopia, Kochere, arabica, heirloom, natural. Our Grade 1 Natural Kochere was processed in the Debo Washing Station in the Kochere region. This washing station is privately owned by Mestawot Assefa and was founded in 2000. Around 650 smallholders deliver their coffee cherries to the collection points, from where they are picked up and brought to the washing station. Partially shaded at altitudes between 1900 and 2100 meters above sea level the coffee grows slowly and develops its distinctive profile. Tips for preparation Please grind on demand to preserve volatile aromas. Sensational as drip coffee prepared with hand filter, the Chemex, the AeroPress, and also as light espresso prepared in a professional espresso machine. Due to a pronounced taste profile, we recommend drinking the coffee only as single origin
